. is it safe to have sex with my bf

of course it is once your hbsab is higher than 10miu/ml after vaccine, you might even exchange blood that nothing will ever happen to you

just make sure your bf is monitored because healthy carrier is a word that doesn t exsist from many years about hbv so who said that might not be updated in hbv management.your bf must monitor every 6 motnhs:
hbvdna pcr
alt/ast
ultrasound for liver cancer prevention
fibroscan yearly for liver damage detection (fibroscan not easily available in US)

hbsag/hbvdna can rule out if your bf is inactive carrier (the correct word) or just cronic carrier with inactive phase hbv
real cronic carriers have:
hbsag<500iu/ml or hbsag<1500iu/ml
hbvdna<2000iu/ml
hbsg quantification not available in US/canda

If first infected as an adult, you have a 90% of getting rid of the virus.  If you were infected as a baby or child, it will likely become a chronic infection (over 6 months) and it will most likely stay with you for the rest of your life.  Chronic HepB can be treated but there is no cure.

"how many years would you live before it eliminates you from the Living Earth."

Answer: Most likely under 100 years.  Monitor and treat if needed and chances are you will live a full life and die from something else other than HepB.

Good luck.
