No, I'm HCV positive.  I found out a year ago that I'm HCV Geno 1a.  I was a grade 1 stage 4 with VL 72,000,000 as of last December.  I've been on tx since January and find out Friday where I'm at after past 12 wks at full tx (because first doc botched rescue med when Hgb dropped and I spent several months adjusting Procrit and Ribavirin to regain full dose of Riba again).

I do keep an eye out for what is occurring in research of the other strains and HIV as they are all somewhat related and breakthroughs in one may lead to same for others, and hopefully my type as well.
