Blood test

Does the military do blood tests for hepatitis b when you try to join?

In Australia they do and you will be rejected if you are positive for hbv. Their "reason" is that in battles, soldiers are relied on to donate blood to their fellow wounded comrades. They have not heard of vaccination and very stubborn about this one-size-fit-all rule.
