good luck on 6 dec tests :)
by the way fibroguard kept creatine low 0.98 without tdf and 1.06 with tdf, normal range 0.9-1.3
alinia with fibroguard had values lower than 0.9
etv+tdf 12 days (too early to say) but ast-alt still rising, hbvdna and hbsag check on dec 6th
if hbvdna and hsag will rise despite etv+tdf i will go back to alinia as soon as possible even if it has become very difficult and expensive to buy in europe.
it will be possible to define the effect of combo nuc+alinia after one month of etv+tdf
my impression and hipotesis is that alinia has higher potency and synergism in the combo with nucs than simple nucs combos, while alinia monotherapy has little potency
I saw the program :) and couple of titles look interesting, so we wait for updates and abstracts.
I hope the combo will work for you. It seems that sooner or later the combos will be the norm. Good luck to you, friend.
I think it should be available to the public. See the whole program at:

do you know if the abstract from this will be available to the public ?
Do you know when inf lambda will be in the market for sales?

this talk will be presented:
Mechanism of action of nitazoxanide

you can use fibroguard for kidneys problems, as a very potent antioxidant/antinflammatory kidenys can benefit even more than liver, with less oxidative stress and less cholesterol kidneys function can be improved very much
also coq10 has taken patients out of dialisis on human trials but only those with residual kidney function
i have used fibroguard especially for that until now, hopefully it will prevent any creatinine change
it has been able to lower creatinine to less than my baseline value on ntz too, the 2g dose made my creatinine borderline
kidneys problems are found in cirrhoostic or very severe fibrosis sometimes, i hope now tht liver is working better with less fibrosis i will tollerate tnf
Then it is sad. I remember you can't tolerate tnf side effects. But who know if the kidney issue is a direct relation with tnf or not. As you have posted, the bone density side effects appear to be due to prevailing vit D deficiency in HBV patients. I have made an appointment with a kidney specialist next month and will see what he will say about the abnormal protein level in urine.
yes but i cant have it here in italy anymore, it is not possible to order it and receive it, customs have changed
so since hbvdna is getting detactable despite etv already at 1 pill a day i am forced to combo with tnf
when interferon lambda will be available i will move to another country to get ntz and combo interferon lambda+etv+tnf, it surely boosts interferon response more than nucs
i hope they will develop that as a flu treatment, they had positive results on the flu human trials, so that we might have it here in europe too
Why do you want to stop ntz? I remember you are an advocate of ntz.
combo etv+tdf prescribed
researchers said if any hbvdna detectable after 2 years combo is definitely needed
liver specialist said less than 20iu/ml is very low but in the end he agreed since we have cirrhosis baseline and alt still higher than 30
only partially, with ntz i could keep hbvdna und but without it etv is partially active
well researcher in LA suggested the combo from the begining now i do want that combo, i want zero risks
i will discuss for a combo but in any case it is not possible to switch you need at least 3-4 months combo, the switch is too dangerous and just crazy to think a swtch on a cirrhosis liver
hi stef,, didnt u respond to etv? are u swithcing to combo?
