DNA Non Detectable Quatification158

from 2,880 quantification
DNA Detected and very high
Had my peg interferon for 1 yr.
i stopped Peg with 143 quantification with zero DNA
No meds for 1 months
DNA detectable
quantification flair up to 250
Then take  veread tablet
After 1 month of veread DNA not detectable
After 1 yrd of veread from 250 quantification its now 158

Seem slow, should i revert back to peg?

bef med my hvbdna is >110 mil iu/ml my hbsag 3860 iu/ml, fiblroscan 7.4 kPa f2 moderate fib, alt is 55 iu/ml as per doc advise i tke sevivo for year. after a yr the result are hvbdna 37iu/ml hbsag 886 iu/mil fibroscan 5.2 kpa minimal fib normal alt and ultra sound then i switch to peg also for a yr but relapse the result are hbvdna <6iu/ml hbsag 143 iu/ml normal alt and ultrasnd. i am inoral med right now taking viread sofar the results off my lab are ok my dna are undetected for 11 months hbsag 158 iu/ml fibroscan 4.1 no fibrosis . my question can viread will lessen my hbsag quanti to zero conversion pls reply

first of all response to pegintf is mainly determined by hbsag quant in iu/ml, hbvdna is just to have a better picture but hbvdna alone does not help because it has nothing to do with clearing hbv infection

hbv cure is actually the opposite, many years on tenofovir antiviral and then pegintf add on until hbsag is cleared

so now test hbsag quantity in iu/ml (abbott architect or elecsys roches), test vitd25oh too which will be deficient anyway and start vit d3 10.000iu daily

give tenofovir one month making vitd levels 100ng/ml might help restart some immune response and keep hbvdna undetectable then if hbvdna is still detectable add on entecavir

as to pegintf add you have to make add on when hbsag is less than 1000iu/ml so you ll be sure to clear hbv once and for all

check all the community to get an idea how hbv is managed
