Why your doc décide to give You interf.please could You share your eesults befoee treatment?
first of all response to pegintf is mainly determined by hbsag quant in iu/ml, hbvdna is just to have a better picture but hbvdna alone does not help because it has nothing to do with clearing hbv infection
hbv cure is actually the opposite, many years on tenofovir antiviral and then pegintf add on until hbsag is cleared
so now test hbsag quantity in iu/ml (abbott architect or elecsys roches), test vitd25oh too which will be deficient anyway and start vit d3 10.000iu daily
give tenofovir one month making vitd levels 100ng/ml might help restart some immune response and keep hbvdna undetectable then if hbvdna is still detectable add on entecavir
as to pegintf add you have to make add on when hbsag is less than 1000iu/ml so you ll be sure to clear hbv once and for all
check all the community to get an idea how hbv is managed
