Double check on a good news!

After one year diagnosed with Hep B, here is the new result. I've always been chronic inactive carrier before and never had to drink any medicine. It seems like a good news but please give me a second opinion.

Hepatitis Be Antigen: Nonreactive
Hepatitis Be Antibody: Reactive
Hep B surface AG: Positive
Hepatitis B surface Immunity: Positive

My body clear it on it own?! Greatly appreciate all your opinion.

You all are such weaklings.  I'm ashame of you all.  I've been water-free for 5 years (and counting).  Water....please....how highly overrated.

No water? That would be difficult task.  I will have to control my diet. I've been eating like i was before diagnosed. But new year, new goal. Thank you for your advice ClearedHealth =)

I have been telling everyone about this supplement.  I did a good research on it.  In fact, one of our memeber in this forum, also living in CA was cleared after infected for 12 years.  He only took it for 3 months and stopped.  Last intake was about 10 years ago.  Last year or two ago, he was informed by his doctor that he was cleared.

He could only thinks of a reason because of Milk Thistle.  I highly recommnded because it was a supplement and beneficial to the liver without side effect reported.  However, I am not a health profession.  So take the milk thistle of self risk and I am not reliable for any advice since I am not licensed nor health professional.

I am looking forward hearing a good news from you.  Please share with me and the community your good news and how you get it.  Much thanks.

My gastro N.P said to repeat the test in 6 months. I consider myself lucky the last month. I thought I would be supper lucky to be able to cleared of this virus. I was going to head to Vegas and try my luck! I blame NashPred for smashing my good news. Sometimes ignorance is bliss. But for this case, I rather know the truth.

Thank you ClearedHealth. I will consider it.

try some milk thirstle to speed up the good result.  Visit liverdesease.com for more info or google in milk thistle.  Moist of the researchers agree the benefit of milk thistle but don't have an official report on the cure.

Not sure if it's good news, but at least it's not bad news :)

The only thing I'm not sure about is that you seem to have just now developed HBsAB's
where as others who test positive for both seem to have always tested that way.

Could you be in the process of clearing? I'm not sure. I guess it is still a possibility... although very slim.

Time will tell. Just keep thinking good thoughts......sometimes dreams do come true :)

StevenNYer may be able to give you more info on this situation as he is positive for both the "s" antibody and antigen.

Check out his response to the following post:

I'll continue to hope for the best for you and please let us know what your gastro/hepatologist says regarding these results.

My family doctor said it seems that i have the immunity for the virus now. He suggested i would go to a gastro or hepatologist for further investigation. It is the weekend and I am unable to get in touch with the doctor.

When i tested a year ago, I do not have the Hepatitis B Surface Immunity. It is a change for this year. I hope it is for the better.

As long as you still test positive for surface antigen, you still have HBV.

You may be one of the few people who have chronic HBV but for some reason test positive for both HBsAG and HBsAB. This is most likely what's going on.

I guess that it could be that you are starting to develop enough antibodies to turn the surface antigen to negative, but this is highly unlikely and I don't want to give you false hope. I do wish you the best of luck though.

Maybe wait a few months and re-test.

What does your doctor say about this?
