my vit d3 supplementation

iPTH - 27,36
vit D 25(OH) - 23,70 (below norm)

started 5000 IU per day
cut diaries from diet

   15.03.2015:
added 200mcg K2 MK7 (or one spoon of natto insted at the beginning)

   1.04.2015:
increased vit D3 to 10.000 IU

   21.04.2015:
Calcium Total = 2,67 (2,5 - 4)
iPTH = 16,05 (15 - 65)
vitD 25(OH) > 117,26 ng/ml

I want to have it as high as possible before interferon therapy, making test for this now.
I suppose I have to stay on 10.000 IU dose or go down to 5000 IU (now is more sun)  ? And check iPTH soon again cuz its close to down level.

not so important your levels of d are quite low, for pisa cisanello hospital normal values are till 150ng/ml, and you can bet they have a reason to choose such range

i d go only for total calcium

any extra tests should be done with next iPTH test ? calcium total, ionized calcium or calcium in urine ?

as i suggest to all in the forum, keep the dose and see if ipth stays around 10, a little below norm is best.this will tell us that enough vitd is reaching receptors and cells and acting on pth
