Fibroscan despite excellent results?

Hi,
I have a persistent or asyptomatic HBV and have been living with it for years. I am a female. My liver results have come back as: AP=35, Bili=0,7, G-GT=9,0, GOT=19,0, GPT=11,0, AST=20
As far as I understand it my liver seems to be fine. Should I still go for a fibroscan?
Thank you.

Since this procedure is described as safer than a liver biopsy I would say go ahead and have it done, if you want to spend the money. Otherwise you know you have HBV, so start taking the medicine that the doctor will prescribed..

Your other results?  You may not need that test because it is unable to see mild status.

just make to be sure you don't have cirrhosis, mild fibrosis as cajim says can be detected wrong but for cirrhosis fibroscan is the better than biopsy

epatitis has no synthoms just like cancer or aids in 99% cases and when you feel them it is too late

i don't mean to scare you but i don't want people to think i feel ok so i am healthy, you need to check all blood tests and ultrasound/alfafeto every 6 months to prevent liver cancer.also check alt/ast every 3 months to stay below 19 for women and 30 for men, these are the latest guidelines.
hope your country or insurance cover that

it is rare but cirrhosis can be detected with normal alt/ast, so lately they changed alt range to be 19 for women and 30 for men, but it is not known 100% if liver damage can be made even with perfectly normal alt/ast
anyway it is very very rare this case, and this means you have a very good liver speciaist who's up to date even for these small details
