Chronic hep b can lead to birth of hepatitis D
Chronic hepatitis b patients can also become infected with hepatitis D. If you have CHB, you can become co infected with Chronic Hepatitis D. The hep B cell turns into hep d. Hepatitis D infection can only be infected with people with hep b.
If we don’t already have enough to worry about. Geesh!!!! Now this. Research shows hep d infection can progress to cirrhosis and HCC, 70-90% of time even if hep b load is treated to not measurable by anti viral.
Anybody else read or know about hep d. I just found out today by random dumb “luck”....:(
