no you need an expert doctors, guidelines are for doctors who can t make personalized treatments
hbsag>250iu/ml, the lab made a fraud they did not make quantitative, if you paid for it you should ask them to retest properly.they probably have obsolete kit which requires manual dilution for quantitative but this is no excuse they must dilute to make quantitative or use the kits for quantitative which are available many years
if hbsag is low peginterferon is the best choice to cure hbv too
so once liver is cleared of hcv it is best to block reinfection by hbv, hbv antivirals cannot block reinfection 100% but they should be able to keep it lower
what is your hbsag level?
just browse the community and you ll see the members who cured, use search
if you dont have cirrhosis you dont need antioxidants like on hepatitis technologies.while you are curing hcv you probably need maximum inflammation/immune response once hcv is cured antioxidants and vit d3 will help with the repair process
as to hbv i think the best strategy was to use peg to cure it first, at this point you should use tenofovir to block spread of infection when hcv infected cells are cleared
it all works this way every cells cannot be infected by 2 viruses but only one virus and it looks like hcv can infect better than hbv.hcv carriers have lower hbsag and sometimes lower hbvdna too
todd from hepatitis technologies has hbv+hcv and had end stage cirrhosis, he just took heptech antioxidants and regressed to a perfect healthy liver without treating infections
anyway hcv is 100% curable and hcv suppresses hbv too so it is best to treat hbv by peginterferon first and then cure hcv
i hope you have both infections and need info and not just making stupid random questions wasting our time
