Later after i figured out about the clinical trials here in my place they just told me since you are on treatment we can't do any thing.
There are too many good clinical trials on HBV here in my area more better than taking the entecavir I was really blind & she is not very helpful to me to put me on those trials. Very disappointing.
I wish i should have done it before i started the treatment & i wonder all the time my specialist doesn't come up with some thing that is helpful to me every time i have to ask her my self like doing blood test(alt, creatinine serium, afp wbc & so on), ultrasound, Fibroscan i had no clue of genotype before i came to this form.
even my result came as undetectable .from what i understand its difficult to get the genome type here in INDIA if your hbv dna count is <2000iu/ml
I'm in the U.S. and had mine tested twice (through Sonora Quest) without issues, but my DNA wasn't as low as yours was (but was not over 1000 iu/ml). I thought as long as DNA is detectable they are able to test? I would ask to test with another facility for sure. good luck!
Got you stifo. You guys are lucky at some times i feel like I am in a jail which here we don't have an access to many HBV testing things.
I was under the care of one of the best research center for hbv in the world and one of the most expert scientists, they have research level machines
Ok stif thanks. May be I'll ask to some more advanced medical centers like UCSF or CPMC.
What the genotype for most in the United States?
What's a good machine and a commercial machine?
No good machines can still detect it, commercial machines maybe not.i had it done with less dna than yours
