The symptoms do not match, should be brown urine, white stool.
You can not tell until you do liver function tests, ultrasound and fibroscan.
If you go for tests test also
HbsAg quantity (make sure it is in iu/ml)
Hbv dna quantitive
AntiHbcIgg,
AntihbcigM
Hbeag
HbeAb
This will help you to understand what is going on.
Ok I will go and check ....
what are the body fluids that can infect others ? do you think my symptoms cause any liver damage or any further ?
Thanks ...
can we trust blood bank test results in india ?
Thank you very much rome and andrey19 for your quick response.
My baby is just 11 days . Can I vaccinate now ?
Thanks,
Charan
My question is how did I have this virus as she doesn't have ?
Or you may had already infected your wife and she had sucessfully recovered from acute phase and developed Hbv antibodies. Check her Anti-Hbs level and vaccinate your baby.
There are two types of hbv, chronic and acute. Chronic you get from childhood and acute at adulthood. You can get hbv through blood or other body liquids. Infected Adults normally recover after 6 month.
You can check if you are chronic or acute by antihbc igM test.
You may be inactive carrier of virus and not be very infectious, that is why your whife is not infected, or you may also have acute infection that you have got recently.
Anyway the baby is the only one at risk, so must be vaccinated asap.
If you do not trust the test do it somewhere else.
