Thanks for your response and prayers.

In a week and a half I will see my Hepatologist. I did get a response from THE BODY. That Dr.responded that I would probably need treatment with either lamivudine, adefovir or both. A liver biopsy would also hep stage my disease. I'm just in shock. Not knowing how I got this virus, really gets me, I don't sleep around and don't do drugs. Well, Lots of prayers I will get through this.

Marekie, Hi...sorry I don't know any answers either. Have you checked for hep B forum? You might want to check out the archives here, there may be some help there. I wish you luck and will pray for you.

Pattie, Hi and welcome back!!!!! It's always so wonderful to hear a good Christian person applaude the forum. I am a Christian and I try to show it to everybody, everyday. We all need to be a shinning light for our God. My Dad used to always tell me..."being a Christian won't mean that we won't ever have "thorns" in our lives, but it makes the thorns a little softer to bare." BTW how are you doing? How long has it been since you've treated? And how it is your quality of life without the hep c? I would love to hear your hep c testimony. I think it would be wonderful for you to share with us, who are dealing with the virus now. Thank You and may God Bless You for praising his name. He will you know! Love and prayers, Cindee  :)

tonyz, hey you. First I want to say you will be on the top of my prayer list today! When I started tx. I was on prozac, I don't know why....but my "doctor goofy" (1st doctor) wanted me to change to lexapro???? So I did. I didn't see any change myself. My friend was going to Dr.Reindollar, my new doctor...who I am going to now...since relapsing after the 48wks of combo. Dr.Reindollar had her go on effxor 225. She did w/ no problems. After I finished tx. the lexapro didn't seem to be helping me???? So my shrink put me on effxor 225..I take 3 a day. (my friend and I had not discussed this before) I've always had problems w/ depression..it runs in our family. My Dad is bi-polar and in 35 yrs. he is yet to find an AD that works for him. That's one thing I've never understood. I wish you the best and again you are in my prayers. much love @ many prayers, Cindee

LVD:  Thanks for the acknowledgment:)

TonyZ: Don't have much to offer you, I'm afraid  except my AST & ALT levels were both over 900 when I started tx, they are normal now, plus I cleared the virus at 12 wks.  I hope this is encouraging news for you.  Best wishes to you..

:)

I am sorry to break into this thread, but I need some advice.
I went to the Dr's yesterday to pick up my meds and go over therapy. While I was there I ask for a copy of last weeks blood tests.
Here is were things get scary, my ALT and AST have been in the upper normal to low abormal area for a couple years, since my last treatment.
The results I got yesterday show my ALT up to 745 and AST at 560. I have never had numbers that high in at least 13 years. I just had a liver panal test done 3 months ago and it showed my ALT at 40 and AST 42 the same area its been for a year and more.
The only thing that has change in that 3 month is that I started Lexapro. The Lexarpo has cause lower bowel problems and and at first the dose had to be lower quite abit, because of over sedation. I have looked all over and cannot find any information on weather Lexapro can be a hepa toxic drug or cause elivated liver panels.
The Nurse that went over the test with me said dont fret, we start the pegasys on friday and will get another panal next week.
Well if a drug or something else is causeing this elevation I want to find out, and not mask it with Pegasys.

Any Help as I am Nervous.

Wow,,,I know that has got to have you worried for the big jump but am thinking it maybe the lexapro that elevated them suddenly.  Did you ask your dr if this is possible so maybe you could get off that before starting tx?  Let us know what you find out and Good Luck!

Sandi,,Hey Girlie! Saw the kitten updates and sounds like they are doing so good!  You never let us know about your tests you had or if you did,,,I must have missed! I hope everything is going good for you and sounds like you and me are going to be wig shopping soon together! LOL  That would be fun huh?  Take Care and continue having fun being the momma cat! LOL

Sorry to jump in the middle of this thread ... didn't want to use a new one.

I just wanted to give all of you a big pat on the back!

I spent a lot of time here about a year ago.  The atmosphere now is much better.  I LOVE hearing so many of you testify and praise God.  I know I could have never made it through my last round without Him.

My prayers are with you all.

Pattie
