HBsag positive and Hbeag negative

Last month only I came to know I have hepatitis B(HBsAG+) and by seeing the reports doctor told me that I have been carring the infection for some years and now my body has cleared the virus.

HIV Elisa: Non-reactive
HCV Elisa: Negative
HBeAG : Negative
HBsAg Elisa: Positive
HGsAG DNA : Less than detectable limits( An "Undetected" and “Less than detectable limits” result indicates that hepatitis B virus (HBV) DNA was not detected in the specimen.

From last 30 days I am facing abdominal pain in right side and due to this I am scaring a lot. Kindly help me to cure my health.

Earlier I have wrongly mentioned like "degeneration of cells" but in actual it is "No degeneration of cells

Can you suggest me what is my situation? Is there any possible to cure.

Hi Flyinsky,

Earlier I use to drink and smoke but I stopped it completely from the moment I diagnosed with HBSag( it has been already 6 months).

Doctor told me that you don't need any treatment as of now and ask me consult after after 6 month to monitor and suggested to eat more antioxidant foods. But still I am feeling abdominal pain at right side.

Can you suggest me what is my current situation?
What is steatos?

it's not true that you are non infectious, maybe very low risk but chance is not zero until HBsAg is positive. The best option would be to check HBsAg quantitive and then repeat it after a few months to see if liver is cleaning.

A tests which you pasted in last post, AMA, ANA, ASMA are tests which are made before interferon treatment, to exclude some autoimmune diseases, maybe he considers interferon treatment for you ?

Hi! i think the hbsag can still be positive and it doesnt mean if it positive you're a carrier. I was a carrier and i undergone 1yr therapy. The hbsag is still positive but they cant find any virus. My doctor said your healthy already, your not infectious.

Your doc said That you have cleared the virus but I see you still have it hbsag is still positive.
Maybe there is is not replication (DNA undetectable)
You should have other tests to see the situation of your liver since you had it from some years.
Try to do fibroscan and ultrasound also your alat ASAT
The pain maybe is due to colon but you should do fibroscan to see more what happens in the liver.
