nitazoxanide, very good results on hbe negative and very weak/slow results on hbe positive
combo with antiviral or interferon can henance results very much but before making combos you need to understand the phase of infection and what type of combo might be good
nitazoxanide has almost no sides (only mild transient diarrea) and already on the market to cure diarrea but it is off label on hbv, on trial for hcv from a couple of years

interferon, good results on hbe positive and depending on genotype, this can have heavy sides, only by injection, very expensive

check with a very good doctor up todate with latest trials on hbv

attention to spam, please read all the posts of the community and health pages link on the right of screen so after studying anf understanding hbv you can understand what can work and what is a waste of money/time

making hbsag negative is very very rare at the moment and according to the quantity and state not possible.at the moment the highest rates of hbsag negative are with nitazoxanide in 1-2 years minimum and interferon 1-10years
there is a compound with 100% hbeag negative in 7 days human trial but it is not available yet, phase 2 trials, www.replicor.com

to know which is the best treatment for you and the phase of your infection you need to make the following test:
hbsag quantity in iu/ml (abbott quantitative test of hbsag, all other tests whhich don't have iu/ml unit don't tell quantity although you see a number)
hbe and hbeab
hbvdna PCR
alt/ast
these are to understand phase of infection

ultrasound, fibroscan (alt not higher than 200 in the last 6 months), and liver function tests, to understand damage of your liver if any
