Welcome to the nuthouse!

You've found a really truly great place to be during and before (and after) treatment.

The people here are the kindest most loving helpful people I've ever seen. I had SO many questions before treatment and they took each and every question and fully helped me to understand just WHAT was going on.

Knowleldge with this disease is power...some doctors are not up to date on the most current information available - so it's nice for us to learn and protect our course of treatment.

Other than that - boy it's nice having people "understand" our peculiar set of situations that arise with this disease.

Most often times when I'd have a serious emergency type question.....the people here would answer it WAY before my doc would call back.  You can't beat that!

Good luck with your biopsy (it's probably over by now).  Remember to ask whatever questions you have...it's the BEST thing you can do for yourself and also REMEMBER TO GET A HARD COPY REPORT OF EVERY TEST YOU HAVE DURING TREATMENT!!!!!!!!!  You'll find out it is one of the most important things you can do!

Good luck!

I wish you smooth sailing.
There's no significant pain involved in an uncomplicated ultra-sound guided biopsy procedure. Don't hesitate to tell the person holding the on/off on the Versed tube to open it a bit wider if you feel it would be to your benefit. My doc took 3 long samples (using the same entry), and it was over. Just like that. Now the first one 35 years ago was a much different story which I will save for a more appropriate time.
Yours in truth,
Mr Liver

Make sure they give you pain meds before the biopsy - some docs don't unless you ask, and I believe in asking.  No need to be macho about it, IMHO.  Best of luck - hopefully the procedure won't unearth much fibrosis.

Good luck and be patient for the results.  You can most likely expect to start tx within 3 weeks after biopsy provided you've decided to tx.

You're such a nice 'bright' person... and kind of got lost in all of this... I left you a post way, way, way, down yonder.  people had got caught up in whatever... but...
wanted to say WELCOME... will be looking out for you when you come around..
You will find that most are friendly.. and helpful; some just trying to make it through one day at a time...

just wanted to say... hope you feel safe and content... and sooooo glad you made it here...
