I get a copy of all my blodd work, tests, etc from all my Doctors. They make you a copy .
Just ask them and they will give it to you. That way you have the data if you ever change docs or need it for a reference.
Get a copy of everything. Everything you mentioned -- all the bloodwork and all the reports -- ultrasound, liver biopsy, the works. You never know when you are going to change doctors. Just aske your doctor when you go for all past report and ask each time there is a new test. They have to provide you with them.
After I relapsed I contacted a specialist who, of course, wanted copies of all my records. I went to my GI and he gave me a puny package of papers. It doesn't even compare to the records I had compiled myself. (the hemotologist never faxed himcopies of my weekly CBCs). I took my records and some of his, if I didn't already have it, and organized them, made sections for PCRS, blood tests (CBCs), biopsies and ultrasounds. I made two copies - one for the new doctors and one for me.
Besides, all the doctor says is that things look good. Or maybe the something is a little high. If you have the actual copies, you can see trends, for example in hemoglobin drops.
frijole
My old doc's office charged me thirteen bucks for copies. Now..when I go to labs...I tell them I want a copy. They ask me to sign for it each time and I do. Remember..each time.
HAve a nice weekend!
