High ALT/AST levels...retest in 3 months

I recently got results from ALT and AST tests.  My ALT is 101 and my AST is 48.  Doctor wants me to come back in 3 months to have another ALT and AST blood test, but said no other test necessary until 3 months.  Seems like a long time to wait if something is going on.  Thoughts?  Thanks.

3 month interval is normal.  ALT and AST were elevated.  Do you have other test results?

I was tested positive in Jan for hepatitis B....had ct scan nothing showing......Was told by doctor to come back March 26th to have more blood drawn and retested.Blood iron was high also.Any clues to why almost 2 months before returning. He did say I was infected.

                                                         Thanks
