How easy is it to contract Hep B giving oral sex to a female who is menstrating.

Could someone please try to quantify the risk of contracting Hepatitis B from giving oral sex one time to  a female carrying Hep B that is menstruating? It was very foolish but I performed the act on someone I had met for the first time and now I am worried. It is very dumb but I simply did not realize at the time that it could be dangerous. I do not know that she has Hep B or not but I need to know what the risk of catching it is if she does. Only after did she realize that she had some blood. Very worried because I do not know her sexual past. My understanding is Hep C is relatively hard to get this way but that Hep B is a lot more contagious. I just would like to have a doctor address this question if possible.

Hello. Well that is scary. Could you explain what you mean when you say adults have a 90% chance to "clear" the virus? Do you mean that even if you contract the virus, there is a good chance your body can fight it and eliminate it....meaning 90% chance you will not be a carrier?

I think this question was posted already. The risk is very high . Go check the blood for aghbs. Adults have a chance to clear the virus somewhere around 90%

Also wanted to add that I brushed my teeth just prior to performing oral sex. I read somewhere that this increases the risk of acquiring diseases from performing oral sex.
