I'm borderline for treatment and Dr wants wants to start Viread

I met with the gastroenterologist and he said I'm borderline for treatment and wants to start me on Viread because my ALT is over 30. Should I wait 3-6 month to retest? I've been changing my diet trying to get my levels down.

HEPATITIS BE ANTIGEN NON-REACTIVE Negative, low level of virus replication
HEPATITIS BE ANTIBODY REACTIVE low viral load and low infectivity
HEPATITIS B VIRUS DNA 77295
HEPATITIS B VIRUS DNA 4.88
AST 28
ALT 33

Yeah, you have a high viral load thats why the doctor recommended treatment. Viread Tenofovir is a good medicine. My viral load dropped dramatically because of that :)

Your dr. recommends treatment cause you are Hep BE antigen negative and have a high viral load, not so much for your alt.
