Worried about hipatitice b

I had a colleague who was hipatitice b positive he got a cut on his finger from knife which we use in our work two days later I also got a cut from that knife now I am worried that I might be infected  the knife we keep in our vehicle and inside temperature of vehicle at afternoon may have been more than 50 c so you think that viruses could have been alive at that temperature?

Chances are low. Hbv virus is least likely to stay active for 48 hrs outside the cells/body. Did u wash the knife after Ur friend cut his finger?

Sadly No,  I didn't know that he is infected few days later he told me that he is hbv positive, I am just thinking outside temperature in uae in summer afternoons are always above 50 c so inside a vehicle it must be more than 60 or 70 will that affect the strength of the viruses? And also the sun rays?
hbv stays for 7 days outside actually ..not only 48 hours

yes it is possible. If you vaccinated you are safe. check if you are immune. otherwise do hepatitis b tests when your doctor tells you.
