Mother To Baby Question Help

Hello

If a mother has Hep. B Core antibodies Positive, and is immuned with Surface Antigen being Negative and Surface Antibodies Positive.  Would the CORE antibodies transfer to the child during birth?

Is it bad having hep b core antibodies when you are already immune?

would hep b reappear in this case?

antibodies are protectors, indeed !!

i think most of us with HBV on here are hoping that we , oneday, have antibodies !!

you're in the clear..and so will your baby , once he/she arrives :-)

You need surface ANTIGEN to have Hep B.  You don't.  You don't have it.  You have core antibodies.

I can't remember exactly but in some cases it is possible to get a relapse when undergoing certain cancer therapies.  Whether or not it is with core antibodies or surface antibodies I don't recall.

Antibodies are good.  They will not transfer.
