My partner is tested HBsAg negative while I am hbeag negative and hbeab positive.

My partner is HBsAg- despite my being HBeAg- and HBeAb+ and we have been active sexually for about 7 months now. What could have been responsible for that? Can intimacy continue and this means there is a guarantee that she will not get infected at least from me?

Can be a number of reasons:
1. your viral load is low, therefore you are not very infectious;
2. your sexual partner has  immunity(natural or acquired) against the infection
3. your partner is already infected (hope not);
4. Luck?

Guarantee - No, unless blood test shows that she is not infected and have HBsAb > 10 iu/L.

Thanks greatly for that. I guess it is the low viral load thing and some luck.
