I have posted a few questions here before and all of you have been extremely helpful. I have acute hep b and have been developing a series of symptoms since my diagnosis. The most recent ones are high blood pressure, elevated pulse (it's been in the 90s and high as 100), abdominal pain, pain in liver area, sides, back, nausea, pains in toes, ankle, calf and back of thigh. My high pulse, pains and nausea got so bad that I went to the ER (I lost about 7 pounds in a week and couldn't eat). I wanted to make sure that these other symptoms weren't related to something else. I won't bore you with the details but they were not helpful at all at the ER. Most of the staff who saw me were not very knowledgable about my condition. They discharged me saying they THINK that this is all related to my hep b. Has anyone else experiences symptoms like this? My main concern is the high BP and pulse which seems to be persistent (been like this for about 2 weeks and it's preventing me from falling to sleep at night). My sedrate and c-reactive protein tests were VERY high, however, my enzyme levels continue to decrease. I'm not very optimistic that I will get over the virus and feel that it will turn chronic. Thanks for listening.
