My roommate has Hep B. How likely is it for me to get infected?

I do not plan to have sex or engage in risky behavior such as sharing needles or razors with him. Does that mean I'm still at a higher risk than someone who's not living with a hep b carrier? Also I'm NOT vaccinated.

How did u find out?   If you feel like you want to move out then go.   If not then stay.  I have hep b, and if I were you, I would seriously weigh my options.  Get vaccinated regardless and be careful.  Just being honest

Cost of the hep b vaccine that last life long  is much cheaper than the cost of your life, you do the math

Silly. Hep b is not transmitted by sharing utensils touching or sharing toilet.. however needles razors and comb should not be shared.. get vaccinated and check ur antibody titer and u'll be safe even if u get infection coz ur immunity will protect u then forever.

Looks like I can't edit my post. Just want to add that we will share the same bathroom (same shower, toilet, and sink) and the same kitchen. I will try to avoid sharing utensils. Am I at risk?
