Need info on Hep B!

Hello everyone!

I recently visited the doctor, and we've been trying to figure out if my symptoms are that of a disease, illness, or anxiety/stress/depression.

HIV tests are negative, all other STDs as well.  My doctor sent many vials of blood out for testing, and among them were Hep A, B, and C.  I have never really had an exposure that would allow me to get Hep C, but have had many that would allow me to get Hep B.  I didn't know getting it from saliva was so common.

I've been experiencing these symptoms: Nausea, Headache, Fatigue(bout 2 weeks), dark urine, joint pains, abdominal pains(all over but sometimes upper right side), macular rash on chest, low grade fever(99.1), easily bruising, long time for wounds to heal, itchy skin all over, lower back pain, loss of appetite, weight loss(15lbs), bone pain, chills, and night sweats.

Could these be signs of an acute HBV infection?

Are these possible signs of a late infection(I've could have had it a while and suddenly symptoms appear)?

I've been sexually active sign around 16.  Is 16 more of a child or adult?  The chances of a 16 year old having chronic HBV is still only 5%?

I guess the above question might not matter since I'm 16 now, and if I caught it at 16 and am showing symptoms now then I'm screwed.

Some people say Hep C isn't curable, and yet through medication many are getting rid of the virus.  Is there a certain treatment available for Hep B that could stop it?

Is there a treatment available for acute Hep B?

Is there treatment atleast to make it go into remission?

Any cures being researched for the near future?

Thank you for taking the time to read.

Hepatitis B Surface Ag w/rflx Confirmation Status: complete

Hepatitis B Surface Antibody
HBsAb assay: Positive (Negative)

What the heck does this mean!?

What do they mean "Routine general medical examination at a health care facility!?"

If positive for Hep B, are these conclusive?!

If negative for Hep B, are these conclusive!?

Is there a treatment available for acute Hep B?

not needed it clears in 98% cases in a couple of weeks, hbsag will take 1-6 months.acute hbv makes no damage and it is kind of benigne illness, it gets cronic only if you are infected at birth, as an adult is less dangerous than a flu which makes much more deaths
