oh i misunderstood posts, so for now only peginterferon alpha is a real available choice to combo with tdf
The secondary outcomes, such as hbvdna and HBsAg have not yet been announced. They have sFDA (China's equivalent of FDA) approval to conduct phase 2 and 3 trials. Still a way from getting sFDA approval as a new drug.
please post hbsag clearance rate on trials if you find them but if no trial has these results novaferon is just scum advertisement for now, all drugs are usually approved when they show better cure rates than previous ones so i dont like this approval with no data
i was the same idea before but i have found some studies on interferon lambda with less effect on hbsag, also novaferon has no data on hbsag clearance......so i will use peginterferon alpha+tenofovir since i do know it clears hbsag in a high number, the other interferons may not
i also noticed that they never studied how to lower interferon sides, i am sure that there are ways to avoid sides like maybe high vit d serum levels or use of simvastatin or who knows...they never studied this
anyway gcmaf is reported to make chemio sides almost none or very light so maybe it will work the same with interferon, i will post every single result i can get
nice maybe comboing novaferon with tdf will bring similiar results to interferon. except novaferon is better to tolerate
Novaferon first news releases:

ill used korean red ginseng and i think its worthed
I put a new post for all inteferons, including Novaferon:
http://www.medhelp.org/posts/Hepatitis-B/Interferons-/show/1598695
i think that is betetr to discuss on that thread all the things regarding interferons, comparations, market dates ....
something hapent with my last reply.
anyway, it seams that we are discussing interferon alpha: http://www.pharmcast.com/Patents200/Yr2011/Jan2011/011111/7868151_Interferone011111.htm
I think that they are after interferon alpha. I base my supposition on the exclusion criteria from the clinical trials that say "1. Patients with known allergy to interferon-α drugs or already generated interferon-α antibodies." and also base on the fact that this was a Non randomized control.

Anyway I try to found out more and If i have something I will come back with a update.
interferon are all present in our bodies made by our immune system when it works properly, can you find which interferon are they after?
the claim no sides make think about interferon lambda, is it possible they make the same interferon lambda as in US?
is china like india as regards breaking the fascist US patents?
I think that they are in phase 3 of clinical trials, but regarding the time when this will be available this is a hard question because it will depend on the country approvals .... but i think that if the trials are suscesful will be aroud 3 year to the market.
look like a new type of interferon. - clinical trials are not so well know because are made in China, but it seams that is a drug that keep some attention.
