Question HEP B ?

can u get it if u got the vaccine against Hepatitis B ?

You have to check if You have developed hbvanti bodies' or not.just do serology hbv(hbsag. Hbsab hbc total)by this way you will be sure.

thank u i used to live in germany before and i checked my vaccine history i got three shots of hbv vaccine does that mean i don't have to worry about it?

If You respond to vaccin I mean your body create antibodies 'you couldn't have hbv for the last of your life.for this you have to check your hbsab if more 10ui you are immunized and don't worry .and some times vaccin don't work on such people so here you have to be careful

To my knowledge, the standard is three shots. The last shot is called a "booster" because its for longevity.  The 3 shots are all the same vaccine.

Vaccine lasts a lifetime...but I was told to check the antibody level for my baby every 10 years just in case.

it is good to know vaccine only last for 5 to 6 years.

well it depends what type of vaccine.

Because you could get HBV if the vaccine is not a booster vaccine.

I had a vaccine for hbv when I was younger but it was a not the booster vaccine. So after 5-6 years the vaccine left my body and years later i had hbv

I recommend you get the booster vaccine.
