Iam Indian age 25 .. was diagnosed almost 6 yrs back ..when had jaundice.  My weight has increased a lot in last half a year .... it stands at 86-89 Kg... height 5'8''

There was a big gap in the next report below and the count is very high please please suggest

hbvdna has no meaning at all on severity of infection or liver damge, as posted previously all tests re needed to make a clear picture of your situation but definitely hbsag quant in iu/ml and fibroscan are the most important tests to do first, after you need hbvdna, alt/ast, hbeag, hbeab, hbcab igm quantitative to help make a perfect picture of your situation and best ways to treat

helathy life style/bmi is the basic of all, if this is missing no treatment will help

i have already decided that .. neways i never used to drink heavily, however now even not that .. and no smoking.

Iam very naivein this aspects hence my question may seem childlike, sorry,

How worried should i be with these results ? I dont want to go on medicine or i will have to be on medicine all my life plus no biopsy as it disturbs the liver...

How worried shud i be coz of 2 million count ???

alcool is poison so if you continue drinking do not waste money on drugs and cures but save for funeral

check my fatty liver posts, if you want you can cancell it in a short time: cut food to minimum, only vegetables, only black rice at meals and bitter melon, increase vitamin d serum to 50-60ng/ml, no sugars, no diaries, no fats, no meat

Yes iam trying to losse weight and cut on my alcohal

The ultrasound showed a fatty liver but the person said its cause of weight... i will do it again... if it still shows fatty shall i go ahead for biopsy ? I want to avoid it..

When u say the medicine u suggested is not antiviral does that mean i dont have to be on them all my life as requied by hbeag -ve patients .. ???

U didnt say anyting abtout my 2 million Iu/ML viral load its eating me, please suggest

no they re all immune modulators or itereference within cell for virus assembly.
antivirals target dna which is the most stupid target which doesnt help at all on hbv infection....

Doc is suggesting Liver Biopsy, i have heard that we shud avoid it as it requires a niddle
insertion in liver

if your ultrasound shows no fatty liver biopsy is just a waste of money and risks, fibroscan is better

What is fibroscan  ?

the only tool to monitor liver damage and fibrosis of the liver

you need to make hbsag quantification in iu/ml, check the posts of other indian members to know where to have this test

you also need fibroscan to know liver damage

as to therapy to eradicate hbv you might try:

alinia(nizonide 500 by lupin)+simvastatin 4 weeks and then add:
interferon

if hbsag is low like less than 1500iu/ml chances of eradication are very good, hbvdna pcr is useless as regards infection the only effect of low hbvdna is no liver damage so if it is an expensive test skip it complitely all other tests like hbsag quant and fibroscan are more important but if you have no money issues check them all
