HBVDNA PCR is test to determine your viral load, if it's too high you are very infectious. It also determines if you are a fast or slow responder to therapies.

Your results:
hbsag reactive - means you have hepatitis b
hbsab reactive - means you have antibodies any maybe clearing the virus

but you should also check Anti - HBc IgM.

I suggest to do the following test in Hi Precision lab:

HBsAg
Anti-HBs
Anti-HBc IgM
HBeAg
Anti-HBe

Check your Anti-HBc IgM, if this is non reactive it means you are in chronic stage. If it is reactive, you are in acute stage. I suggest to do the test in Hi-Precision lab in the philippines, do a full hepa b profile test. They will give you quantitative results. Post it here in the forum so they can help you with the results.

alt is normal, call the òab and ask if that result is:

hbsag reactive
hbsab reactive

if it is so, make also hbcab igm test if reactive you have acute hbv and clearing

if you can affor make hbvdna pcr too, this should be und or very low

hbsag is not quantitative, it says just positive so this means you are infected

ANTIBODY TO HEPA B ANTIGEN...
which antigen?hbsab, hcab, hbeab?

you should check hbvdan pcr too

your doctor is froma  century ago, just a carrier means nothing

yes you are infectious

you need the following if you find it in the philippines to know your status:
fibroscan, values less than 6kpa are normal liver
hbsag quantity in iu/ml, values lower than 300iu/ml are for inactive carriers
hbvdna pcr
alt, less than 30 is normal values
