Test results ?

Just received these results. "Hep B surface Ag (HBsAg) - negative" Does this confirm I don't have Hep B ?

you havnt hep b,to know if you are immuned do hbsab test

I have been vaccinated in the past does this result mean i am immune ?

Hi Manny, it usually means one of a few things...

1.) You have no active or prior infection, but you may not be immune so may need vaccination
2.)  You're immune due to vaccination
3.) You had an infection that resolved, so may be immuned but if immunosupressed, your virus can reactivate.
4.) Acute infection is resolving
