Unprotected oral on my penis

I had a unprotected ******** from a sex worker 3 weeks ago July 5th. I now i have mild irritation hours after ejaculation. I have had sex with my wife twice since then. Now 3 days ago my wife tells my he vagina is itchy. First of I know i made a mistake. I'm willing to take responsibility.

I went to doc and heath departt on 22nd 18 days post exposure. Health depart told me it is likely NGU and gave me medicine on the spot. She told me not to have sex for a week and I should be fine no follow up necessary. After treatment she told me and my wife be able to resume normal sex life, no further testing.

23rd test results back Urinalysis clean, rapid plasma clean, hiv 1 and 2 neg and chlamydia gc neg. I know i have herpes 1 at least, I tested for it 6 years ago and i get a cold sore every 3 years  or so. doc said i probably had it for a while based on the test. He clams their is not test for the specific type but I've read differently. I saw my urologist and he said its not hero in my urethra, hes not seen that happen in 30 years of practice and it would be extremely painful if it did. Wife's itchiness and burning has no sores and is clearing up after 3 days. My urethra no longer hurting.

her vagina was itching and burning for a few days. Urethra was mildly burning after ejacu for 2 weeks. 18 day std test are neg. What else do i test for? How long do I need to wait to test and for what stds.

I got more test at health depart as well for similar stuff but the test will not be back for another few weeks. I am confidant that I have contracted a std. My doc and the health depart doc did a visual check of my penis and think it looks clean for herpes or anything like that. I am concerned about HIV and hep b. I have had 2 hep b shots over the last year or so but not in the recom time frame. I don't want to give my wife anything. I have refused to have sex with her. I will wait 6 m if I have to. I want to know what else I should be tested for and when. I had diarrhea to and a crook in my neck all day 21 days post exposure.

sounds like it is staph infection or micoplasma. urianalisis wont pick it up machine does that test. U need a urine culture done to see what grows.

Also pcr on your wifes fluids to see what this is. As for doctors dont depend on them. Most of them have no clue how to diagnose a disease. Standard test panel of std tests did not show it - any looking further they want.

That is how they missed my hep b. Only the 5th or six infectious disease guy decided to check for everything sort of speaking.

But in your case have them/ make them do urine cultures on the first morning urine you pass.

I had similar situation. Mild irritation while urinating in the morning. For six months I had it plus hep b. Was told Oh that is normal nothing to worry about. You took antibiotics etc.

Not till I saw doc number  10-15 or so that decided to do a urine culture. And sure enough micoplasma was found.

I then took Keflex and Pinicilin VK for about 2 weeks and it was gone.

If you tested negative for hep b after several months you are ok. This virus gets detected  in blood rather fast after infection. Symptoms it produces are flue like illness that does not go away for weeks. Very similar to what is reported with hiv.

Mine yes got chronic. This the 7th year for me :(
