transmission of HBV in uprotected sex

I am a HBV carrier and had unprotected sex with my current significant other.  I was told I was given HBV at birth and have had no complications of it.  Yes it is very careless of me to be having unprotected sex but what is the likelihood of her not getting infected?  Does my saliva carry the virus?

Her chances are much better than they were before you decided to do that.  It wasn't careless.  It was selfish and dangerous.

What would you consider to be an acceptably low risk for of getting HIV from an partner who didn't disclose the information until after they'd had sex with you?  Would you be okay with it if you only had a 3 or 4% chance?

Yes, your saliva carries the virus.

Get her tested for anti-HBs.  If positive, then she is safe from HBV because she is immune to the HBV you are carrying.
