I discovered I have hepatitis b since last year june

I discovered I have hepatitis b since last year and have not taking any steps because I don't know it a deadly diseases,but recently I discovered it more deadly than hiv am so confused now, please what is the next step for me to take because am afraid of losing my life. What medicine can I take, how can I maintain it not to pass it to my unborn child.

First choose the best hepato in your area and he will tell you what complementary exams to do to evaluate yours liver conditions.(full panel of blood exams alat ASAT platelets fns sugar lipids all ......viraload  ....
Ultrasound fibroscan and off not available biopsy
And not necessary give you treatment from first time.he observeyou foe moment maybe more than year than decide.if every thing is ok justchek up every 6monthes is enough.if not he will choose the appropriate medicine to avoid damage to liver.for this I ask you to choose a good doc

Hi,

HBV is faster than AIDS in spreading to others, not dangerous for health than AIDS.

Only risk is if HCC is developed,so need to be monitored every 6 months.
If it's detected early, some steps can be taken to get rid of this like liver transplantation in worst case.

So, needn't worry much about this disease, you can lead normal life like others and you can live more than 100 years if you don't have any other diseases.!! Enjoy..
