and D genotype is common in India
Well during the interaction of variable genotype in single host (Patient) it is only one genome which can show its dominancy and another one will remain under recessive part because of intra-viral compitition just like between HepB and Hep-C co infection. Please elaborate or rectify if i am correct/incorrect
B & C in South East Asia. Genotype B common in Indonesia.
What about South East Asia? What common genotype?
In China, you have two common genotypes, B and C. Because of discrimination and social stigma, it is not uncommon to find hbvers marrying each other. Couples may also be in different stages of infection or on different treatment regimes. Some research in this area may be worthwhile.
also to consider: viral loads themselves have little meaning on hbv infection
only hbsag quantity, fibroscan result is important
no there will be no difference
and even if infected by mixed genotypes. only reduced response to intf can be the result
couple must be from different part of the world because genotypes are continent fixed
I am not sure but if the genotype is different or the virus is mutated, then it probably can...
The question is relevant in countries with high prevalence of Hepatitis B infection where you may expect to find couples who are both infected. I don't believe there is a simple answer.
