Hep BSurface AB

My son who up to 3 months ago was sharing needles (Herion Addiction) just had his 3 month blood work done for HIV and HEP. Thank God, all came back negative. However, his Hep B Surface Ab # was 1.79. He's 23 years old.

I'm his father and I had the same test done and my number was <0.1

He's had no other risks since getting off of drugs in October.

What's the difference in numbers tell me?

he had probably hbv vaccine and you did not, please post all hbv markers they did to him, according to the result it would be good to make a booster dose of vaccine since hbv can take even 6 months to start an infection

Does HEP C take 6 months to show up as that came out negative, as well? He was an IV drug user up to October 14th of last year but clean ever since.

i dont know about hcv but i believe it is faster, also hbv cant get cronic if immune system of the adult infected works normally (no drugs, healthy life)

sorry if he was drug user imune system is destroyed and can take years to get back to normal, drug users get to aids even with no infection the drug itself destroys immune system and kills drug users

it is better to get him vaccinated for hbv if the following is hbv results:
hbsag negative
hbcab igg negative
hbcab igm negative
hbeag negative
hbeab negative
hbvdna pcr negative

drug users can easily get mutated forms due to no immune system and easy exposure to virus so those markers, which are the routine for anybody, should look like that
if so vaccine will boost hbsab titer to keep high protection

immune system can be repaired by health life, healthy fresh food, glutathione, vitamin c, vitamin d
live home made fresh probiotics (not pills)

to test how immune system is:
cd4
cd8
cd16cd56
cd19
cd4/cd8

research level only one lab available to private: nagalase  - if abnormal viruses, bacteria or cancer cells are present even before detactable by scans
