for the forums experts link between cellular cholesterol and marketed liposoms

i am trying to find if there is a link between liposomes on the market, vitc liposomes or glutathion liposomes and cellular cholesterol

this is the articles that confirms a link between envelopped viruses, hbv too, and their viral activity
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2951407/

this is an article about gluthatione liposomes and cellular cholesterol/atherosclerotic plaques
http://www.readisorb.com/science/atherosclerosis_article.html

do you think liposomal gluthation might lower cellular cholesterol too and so weaken or have an antiviral effect?
in particular i don t know the link of cellular cholesterol level and oxidation of ldl, is the inhibition of the progression of oxidation of  LDL the same as having lower cellular cholesterol level?

a sentence from gluthatione study not very clear to me:
Analyses of cellular cholesterol fluxes revealed that, liposomal glutathione (12.5mg/kg/day) consumption, decreased the extent of oxidized-LDL (Ox-LDL) uptake by 17% and the cellular cholesterol biosynthesis rate, by 34%,

what is cholesterol biosynthesis?....i guess it is less cholesterol produced by the cell

of course a decrease in cellular cholesterol production results in total cellular cholesterol decrease, am i right?what do you think?
