hbsag positive hbeag negative hbvdna 3.8 IUml

I was found hbsag positive 9 month  back results are hbsag postive hbeag negative hbv dna 10700 IUml after 6 months hbvdna 3.8 iuml I am taking entica from past 9 months my doctor told me to take entica for another 3 years am I going in th right direction?

Yes you are in right direction if entecavir is not showing good results, switch with tenofovir the best drug with no resistance,no mutation, ,after hbsag goes less than 1500 iu add on peginterferon for12-24 months ,depends on your immune response. Best cure for now tenof and later add peg on
