hello guys, can you help me with this?

I got infected by hepatitis b, I'm in medication right now.... I recently got my hepatitis profile with a reading for HBsAG patient count of 3.130, cut-off value of 0.072 interpretation REACTIVE.

i don't know whats that means.

Is it worst?

Whats the normal range for HBsAG?

thanks guys.....

are you on lamivudine now? LAM is one of the worst things to be on. The virus usually develops resistance to it. Please tell us your complete history and someone here will comment further.

Can you be more specific ?

You mentioned you are infected and on treatment. Does this mean you got infected sometime back, found it through tests and doctor recommended to go on treatment ?

As long as you have HBsAg +ve, you are active for HepB. Depending on other readings you need to continue treatment.

I believe 3.130 is OD (Optical Density), if so, a negative test should be below cut-off value.
Test yourself for HBV DNA, to see how much copies of virus you have.
