what is monotheraphy?

herbs are too weak no study results at all on hbv in vivo

nitazoxanide in combination with interferon, tenofovir or entecavir might make hbsag negative, a group in the community is trying it off label since it has almost no sides

simvastatin (cholesterol drug) and rosiglitazone (Avandia) have been reported to weaken hbv but both can have sides, no studies in vivo, probably useless in monotherapy

replicor, no furthur development at least for 5 years (in 5 years etv and tdf has patent expired...what a coincidence)

alinia, ntz, no plans on hbv trials, only hcv and flu trials for now.It looks like NTZ works at 1,5-2g only
