hepatitis b inactive carrier husband

Am worried because i just got married and my husband is hep b inactive carrier and i would love to have children with him. We did not have sex yet because we are in different countries far away from each other but making plans to stay together very soon. We've been dating since high school before we both traveled, then he was not having this virus. Please i need your advise on what to do

Get vaccinated and then test to make sure you have responded and developed sufficient HBsAb to provide you with protective immunity.
