The Professor couldn't give any specific info because of confidentiality agreement with drug company. They are very enthusisatic as the Prof said INF Lamda is proven effective & safe scientifally. Communication by email.
It is reasonable that this product will be used in the next 2-3 years
This thread is more appropriate to ask this question.
Does anybody know when inf lambda will be available in the market for sale?
do they have any dates about hbv trials on hbeag neg?
researchers said 1-2 years but i hope they will shorten this time
A trial is being conducted in Yale University. According to the Professor, they are enthusiastic about IFN Lamda.
I think future therapy would be Tenofovir + Mycrulex B + IFN Lamda
I only found out this trial http://clinicaltrials.gov/show/NCT01204762 but is only for hbe positive and looks that mainly is a dose ranging study
Is any trial of interferon Lambda on hep B ?
I only see trials on C and I wandering if the results on B are at least as good as alpha and small side effects.
in hcv community those who tried have had no sides or mild sides
you have to consider that those under peginterferon think they are about to dye when they have sides.the point of peginterferon is not sides itself but the severity of the sides.
when my mother tried it it was the same thing you think one is about to dye becuase it is like you have the most severe flu of your life with incredible pains and cold and all your body shakes incredibly.nowadays peginterferon would never be approved it was prroved because there were no therapies at that time, the sides are similar to a very heavy chemiotherapy for cancer.only young people experience no sides or mild sides, that's the reason i never wanted to do interferon in my life
on lamda you don t feel like you are about to dye when you have sides
