anyone with HEP B &D combo here?

Hi I'm new to this forum. I have hep b&D combo and am currently on baraclude and interferon treatment. I'm coming to my second year in August on this treatment combo. My specialist is giving me updates but says that it's likely that I will a have to be on entecovir for life. Atm the blood result shows that hep b is undetectable. They say that I respond reasonably well but likely hep b dna will stay in my blood :-(. I'm worried bout all the long term side effects of this treatment and wondering what concrete questions should I ask my specialist routinely so that I know better how my body is actually coping.  All I hear is jargon that I don't understand :-(. Also has anyone been taking Essential Forte to help the liver? My doc doesn't seem to favour any additional,  complimentary therapies,  such as milk thistle,  essential forte,  etc. Just hard drugs. Sorry, so many questions....not a lot of people with my hepatitis combo to ask. Thank u for reading my post..

you ll see all info browsing all posts.hbvdna is of no interest to clear hbv and hdv but only hbsag quantitative in iu/ml, while on peginterferon you have to look for hbsag quant results only

post your hbsag quant in iu/ml during your pegintf course, also check your vitd25oh levels, pegintf doesn t work if vit d is low

unless hbsag goes und you have to take antivirals for life, data we have reached 10-13 years on antivirals and hbsag goes down between year 5 and 10 on most, once hbsag is less than 1000iu/ml peginterferon clears hbv 100%
