liver profile interpretation

HBsAG : 3.5 value (reactive)
Anti-HBs :3.9 (non-reactive)
Anti-HBc:.016 (reactive)
Anti- HAV : .73 (non- reactive)
Anti-Hbe: .028 (reactive)

SGOT :4.0 IU/L (0-40 IU/L)
SGPT : 58.3 IU/L (4-38 IU/L)

Pls help me interpret the test i got a week ago.  The doctor said I am a chronic non infectious Hepa B carrier.  Is there any medicine that i should take?  Do I still need other test like DNA test?

You are in the right forum.

Yes, you should take a DNA viral count test also. Although being E Antigen Positive probably means you have a very low or undetectable count.

You are most likely an inactive carrier.
Bad News: Nothing really medically can be offered except lead a healthy lifestyle
Good News: Very small chance of anything bad happening. Odds are stacked in your favor to lead a long healthy life.


You just have to have yearly checkups for AFP and ultrasound.
