Yes a liver can even regrow its self. That's why some ppl get a half of a liver transplant and then that liver grows into normal size.

The liver is the only internal human organ capable of natural regeneration of lost tissue; as little as 25% of a liver can regenerate the whole liver in a short time
also cirrhosis can regress if its cause is removed
