You build a resistance to pain meds.

Some folks build tolerance - some build intolerance.

Sometimes --- like contact lenses - your body changes ---- so you become adjusted to certain levels --- and you'll need more --- or you'll need to change types/brands.... And sometimes -- you just can't use them anymore.

If your liver function tests came back perfect and you have anti-HBs, you have no worry from HBV.  Your oxycodone related pain has to originate elsewhere.  Please consult your doctor.

Best.
