Signs, Symptons and Scared

Hello, and thank you for reading this. I think I might have been exsposed to HEP B in the last 2 year. I have had no s/s of Jaundice, Elevated liver enzymes... However I do have HPV and I am scared to death that I have HEP B. I had multiple sex partners up until 2002. I was vacinated with the HEP B in 1999, however I only recived the 1st shot and did not recieve the others. So here is my question;
1) Did the 1st step to the 3 step Hep B vacination offer me some protection if I was exsposed?
2) I am now engaged to be married, if I do have Hep B and want to have children does this mean my babys will be positive for hep B?
I tryed getting tested for the Hep B virus this weekend...THEY lost my labs. Please all answers very much appreicated.
thank you

I believe the answer to #1 is no, most likely you had no protection against hep b.  as for question # 2, there is no way to know that ahead of time.
I believe that you have to be tested for a marriage license, so you can wait until then, or get retested for all sexually transmissible diseases soon; hep b, HIV, Chlamydia, etc.
your questions will be answered by the bloodwork and the physician that orders them. Call the lab again to see if they can track your samples, they have to be somewhere!
