NYtimes...a great source of fake news...anyway they re right on calcium and partially wrong on vit D, vitamin k2 mk4 or mk7 is what can fix calcium to bones (other minerals are also more important than calcium) and lower fractures, there are some triasl with results on this.vitamin alone is not useful because it only increases calcium absorption from foods it is the cmbo with vit k2 to make it work
