what does 261 copies mean?

I had a test last year september and was diagnosed with Hepatitis B.My Doctor told me the result was fine after a second test to know the level of the virus. He told me that the copies found were just 261 copies and no traetment required.I have read many things about multiplication of virus and I am concerned.
Can anyone advise me on what to do? Is there any treatment to clear off these copies?

You must be the inactive carrier, which means you are very stable, do not need treatment now, and at most needs periodic monitoring by testing.

I think you should be find with Canadian High Commission.

Thanks Cajim. The problem there is that I dont have the hardcopy of the results with me here.I think my brief explanation can be ok for you to provide basic answer.
When I went through the test in Sept 2007,the DR categorically said that that the result was fine due to the minimal level of the virus and he said 'It seems I just contacted it' In the report,he concluded with 'no required treatment'
I was there few days ago based on curiousity that it would nice monitor my health progress....He insisted on saying my condition was fine, when I insisted that I would implore him to conduct a test again in order to know if I have recovered or not,he said he would refer me to a liver specialist.
I asked him that I wanted to know if I have recovered and he said because I have chronic Hep B that is still in my blood based on the antibody test that was negative that time.
My question is that without a test, how did he know that I have not had antibody after one year?
Please advise
