It's a real prize you have, that ultra RVR. Glad you told me about the liver damage as negative predictor. Best of luck! We're all pulling for ya.
Dr.G for grumpy, lol. I quickly turned from his favorite new patient to a bug on the wall when he learned he would have to treat me himself.
Keep us posted, T
I definantly considered 24 weeks. I searched and searched and searched some more and ALL, not most, ALL the DATA says 24 weeks is just as effective as 48 for a CERTIAN sub-set of Geno 1s. Low base VL,--- less than 800k, 600k 400k or even 200k, depending on who you look at. 400k seems to be the most likely settled on figure---RVR/UND @ 4weeks. The only negitive predictor I could find was significant liver damage (3-4) THUS my compromise at 36 weeks. (I am stage 3). You know my Dr. ya know, dr.g for grumpy!! He did not like it at all, in fact he didn't much care for or have time for paitents being involved in thier tx. jerry
Hey Jerry,
I remember when you started...it goes by quickly for those of us watching. A thousand good lucks with your decision to stop at 36. How did your hepatalligist like that?? Did you consider 24? 36 seems like a fair compromise. Hoping that I and many others have your 'ultra' good fortune and the opportunity to have our suits tailored.
Best wishes!!!!!

Wonderful news Jerry! It will be so good to finally be done! It's been a tough ride and SVR is waiting on the horizon.
Best wishes on the Countdown; looking forward to hearing you finish and I hope the lower dose helps with a fast recovery.
